About Lufuno

Lufuno Ndou is a South African-born vocalist based in Birmingham.

Having moved to England when she was 6, Lufuno began her musical training when she was 11, being involved in the Penial Place Gospel Choir led by Gareth Fuller as well as various vocal and instrumental groups within Malcolm Arnold Academy. She was also a part of the choir of St Matthew’s Church in Northampton, led by Stephen Moore. Lufuno is now a member of St Chad’s Cathedral Choir under David Saint and also sings with the Birmingham Conservatoire Chamber Choir led by Paul Spicer and Jeffrey Skidmore. She joined the Chamber Choir in recording a CD of music composed by John Joubert in June 2016. Lufuno is currently studying the Undergraduate Vocal and Operatic course in Birmingham Conservatoire under Yvonne Sandison.
