After my choral scholar days at King's College London, I initially focussed on my career in management but thankfully in more recent years I have thrown myself back into my classical music training with a passion!
My continued private tuition is currently with Christopher Jacklin who teaches at the Royal College of Music and performs with English National Opera.
I sing as both ensemble member and soloist with 5 auditioned chamber choirs in the South of England and an all female 4-part harmony quartet, and have the good fortune to work with a number of excellent conductors and accomplished fellow musicians.
I have performed in a vast number of concerts covering a wide repertoire ranging from early music all the way through to contemporary commissions. Highlights have included joining Roderick Williams in concert as part of the John Ireland In Chelsea music festival 2012 (including solo performance of Stanford's 'The Blue Bird'); Performance with Addison Chamber Choir including solo sections of Cadman Requiem as part of the 2015 King's Place Minimalist Festival with Gavin Bryars Ensemble; Singing under the baton of John Rutter for November 2013 concert at St. Paul’s Cathedral with The Purcell Singers and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra; along with a truly memorable experience of open-air performance of Bob Chilcott's Aesops Fables at the Minack theatre in Cornwall.
I have also participated in the prestigious Presteigne Music Festival and have been invited back for 2016 to form part of a specially selected festival chamber choir, and also tour regularly with Surrey Cantata in Brittany, France.
