Louise started playing the flute at 8 years old and is now an Associate of Trinity College London. She is happiest when she has a flute in her hand. Louise is a regular performing musician, highlights being Night at the Abbey at Glastonbury Abbey and Bishops Palace in Wells. As a classically trained musician Louise has a huge repertoire of classical music. She also loves playing jazz, music from the shows and popular music. As an experienced wedding and events musician you can be assured of good communication prior to the event and an excellent performance on the day itself. Not one to always stick to the norm, Louise can also play with an electric pick up. This is a great option to enhance jazz or popular music sets in larger venues.

Customer questions

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I always try to be flexible to ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. I don’t usually take multiple bookings in one day. If timings change, please let me know as soon as possible.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

No

How much time do you need to set up?

I usually need about 30 minutes to set up.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

I usually choose a set list. However I am more than happy to discuss requests with you.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes, I bring everything I need. For larger venues, I usually use my electric pick up and amplifier. I would need a power source.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

I can, but at an extra charge if it is not already in my repertoire. There is a charge of £30.00 for this.

Louise played at our wedding anniversary party. She played jazz for us. We were really pleased with her communication prior to our party. Many of the guest commented how perfect the music was and we were very pleased as well. Perfect music for our celebration.

Louise was recommended to us by a friend. She played at my 40th birthday garden party. She played classical music which added the sophisticated touch I was looking for. I'm so pleased we asked Louise to play and would highly recommend her.
