Born and raised in North Staffordshire, Louisa was head chorister at Stoke Minster and began her training under David Burrowes and Nicholas Powell. As an established symphonic choral soprano, Louisa has worked extensively with Simon Halsey for nearly 20 years, firstly with the CBSO chorus and the LSC since 2013. Previous highlights include Ein Deutsches Requiem (BBC Symphony Orchestra), Mahler's 8th Symphony (Royal Concertgebouw), Wonderful Town, Candide (LSO), The Cunning Little Vixen at Philharmonie Paris and Belshazzar's Feast at the BBC Proms with Sir Simon Rattle and the LSO. Upcoming engagements include Glagolitic Mass under Sir John Eliot Gardner, Roméo et Juliette, Mahler's 'Resurrection' Symphony and Beethoven 9 in Germany and Luxembourg. Throughout her choral career, Louisa has worked with some of the finest conductors and orchestras including Gustavo Dudamel, Sir Charles Mackerras, Cleveland Orchestra, Marin Alsop, Edo de Waart, Bernard Haitink, CBSO and Martyn Brabbins. In addition, her solo repertoire includes Verdi, Elgar, German lieder and French art song. As a versatile performer, Louisa is at ease singing classical, opera, musical theatre and jazz.

I always try my best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let me know

How much time do you need to set up?

I will arrive 90 minutes before your event begins for a balance check and vocal preparation.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

Of course! You can also submit requests for your special event.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

Absolutely! If a song isn't included in my song list it's not a problem for me to learn it. Unlike other artists, I do not charge an extra fee for this service.
