What is the most high profile gig you've performed?
Outlander Ceilidh in the Glasgow Hilton (Rothes Halls the year before) ... Cast and Crew from the hit show outlander, with plenty folk from around the globe attending, an event not to be missed, we love it! Check the video section to find live footage from this event!
Can you perform covers?
Not especially! We stick to a full blown ceilidh, very good fun, but we can offer a DJ music service though! With hits from multiple eras! Let us know what you want and we’ll try and do it!
Do you have different line-up options?
No, our lineup consists of 3 members, Michael on the accordion, Kyle on the drums, and Finlay on the guitar!
What if my timings change after I've booked you?
Let us know, we will do our hardest to work around our client and make their event the best!
Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?
Yes, of course, give us a list or we will make one up for you and we will play it through the PA, No problemo!
How much time do you need to set up?
Normally, we like to arrive onsite 1 hour to 1 hour 30 mins, before guests arrive to ensure soundcheck is complete and sound is the best we can get it for your event! All equipment is up to date and brand new! Everything will be taped down and neatly put down to ensure there are no trip hazards! As soon as we are setup, we will play light background music!
Do you provide a caller?
Yes, Michael, the accordionist is the bands caller, and is very experienced in this field! He can talk everyone through the dances with a lot of description and we make sure that everyone understands before starting! With some banter thrown in at times! 😂
Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?
Course, you let us know what you want, we will fit it into the set! We are very flexible that way!
Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA) included in your quote?
Yes, all equipment is ours, and nothing extra is needed from you! ... and everything is included in quote including lighting, PA, and band members!
Can you learn song requests before the event?
Yes, give us plenty warning though and we’ll have a go at it in a practice session and fit it into a set somehow!
