Loney are a 5 piece band that play classic and contemporary covers in a Jazz, Soul, Latin and Funk style and will often create original interpretations of covers of a variety of songs. For a more intimate affair, or to provide background music to an event, we can perform a warm, mellow acoustic set that would include a Spanish guitar and a Cajon (a Peruvian percussion box). For a more upbeat event, the band can perform a livelier set with electric guitar and full drum kit, more suited to getting people up on the dance floor. Through some of there events they have also been fortunate to play alongside the Overtones, Brother Strut and Beverly Knight as well as playing the Visit England Awards for Excellence 2014 as well as Both Exeter and Barnstaple Christmas lights switch on.
