Logan McQuirk is a young, well practiced, easy going musician, with a 1st class bachelors degree in Musical Performance from the Academy of Contemporary Music. Logan has studied his musicianship with renowned freelance musicians such as bassist Sandy Beales (One Direction) and Luke Juby (Genesis, The Script). As the current bass guitarist for indie rock band ‘The White Lakes’ and function band 'Young Funks' Logan has played gigs at many festival stages over 3 years including, F1 Silverstone 2021, TRUCK fest, 110 Above, and other venues iconic including the O2 Oxford/Birmingham, The Boileroom. Throughout his studies Logan has learnt to be versatile with genre and the tone of his instrument. He has experience performing with covers and tribute bands not only prior to but during his time at university also. Logan’s music gear inventory includes a full in ear monitoring system, cab and amp head, combo amp, Fender Jazz bass, Musicman Sterling Bass and a Washburn electro-acoustic guitar.
