Coming from a generation of strong sight-readers and stylistically diverse musicians, Lloyd Ryan cut his teeth amongst some of the greatest drummers of all time. Consequently, Lloyd has since played for numerous successful bands and artists that range in style from big band, swing and jazz to pop, blues and latin. These include chart legends such as Tony Christie, Brotherhood of Man, Matt Monroe, Cilla Black, Long John Baldry, The Nolans and hundreds more. As well as recording and touring with the showbiz greats, Lloyd has also had his drumming featured in films such as ‘The Birth of The Beatles’ and recently performed on a Visa Apple Pay television commercial [which funnily enough lead to a flurry of similar adverts featuring drummers and drum rolls!]. Lloyd’s teaching studio has produced some of the most famous drummers in the pop world, stacking up over 100 of the UK’s top singles and albums between them.
