Established in 2011, Live Lounge have built an enviable reputation as one of the top wedding and function bands in the region. Wedding and function clients comment without fail on the unusual sound, the different instrumentation and the quirky choice of songs. Michaela’s stunning vocals blend with sweet violin lines and perfect guitar backing to create an unique combination. The band have always put great customer service as high in importance as great music and we work closely with all clients to make sure they get the experience they and their guests will love and remember. All quotes include a FREE special song/first dance worked up in our unique style Michaela has been playing in rock bands since the age of 11, played the first Bingley Music Live at the age of 14 and even supported the Merseybeats. Her influences include Joan Jett, Pat Benatar and Shirley Manson but so many of our audiences comment on the songs she sings that are associated with male singers in the original versions. All comment on how amazing her voice is! Howard learned violin from the age of 8 but had a few proper jobs before discovering his Live Lounge colleagues in 2011. Many are fascinated by the Ned Steinberger electric 5 string he plays, combining violin and viola in one instrument. A classical background, a love of jazz and a few years of listening to all-sorts provides for an unusual style of playing. Stu joined founder members Howard and Michaela in 2018 and brings a rich musical background to the band. Not only an accomplished guitarist,Stu is totally immersed in music – he has his own music school in Bingley The band have extensive experience of weddings and functions in both UK and Italy, working with exclusive country house venues, blue-chip corporate clients as well as hotels, bars and restaurants that are looking for entertainment with a difference
