Customer questions

What do your clients love most about your performances?

My high energy and dynamic set list incorporates a unique blend of tenor saxophone and vocals. My rapport and engagement with the audience, topped off with my quirky glitzy and glamorous style makes for a fun evening.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

Victorious Festival, Portsmouth. The Dublin Castle, Camden Town, London. The 1865, Southampton. Music Mania, Brighton, Legacy Festival, Eastleigh. Numerous pubs and clubs around the UK.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

Madness, Blondie, Amy Winehouse, Rod Stewart & Brian Ferry.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

Twice at Victorious Festival, Portsmouth.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I always try to be as flexible as possible and to ensure that your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let me know. I'm sure it will be possible to accomodate you.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Absolutely. This is a really popular request and we offer a carefully selected playlist of background music, to get your guests in the mood to party. This service is free as part of the overall package provided.

How much time do you need to set up?

Myself & my sound engineer usually set up about 1 to 1.5 hours before the performance time. As soon as the PA is set up, we can provide a free playlist service to help set the atmosphere and get your guests ready for our live performance. The provision of parking for a transit size vehicle, in close proximity to the venue, assists in the set up time.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

My set list is crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to ensure guests dance and have an amazing time. However, I'm definitely happy to chat through and make sure that we find what works best for your event.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes, I am completely self contained, with a full lighting and sound system. All that is required is a suitable place to set up and an electricity supply that complies with current UK safety legislation. For outside events and private garden parties, I come equipeda gazebo, which enables the performance to continue in less than favourable weather conditions.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

If a song isn't included in my song list, there may be a chance that I already know it. If there is a special song you'd like me to learn. It would depend on the complexity of the song, the availability of the track and any time constraints. An additional fee of £30 would be payable, to take into account rehearsal times etc.
