Performance with The Tartan Trio Ceilidh Band
Though we had an unwilling group of participants we felt the length of songs/routines went on a little too long to the point we had say stop. We felt the ‘calling’ could have been more enthusiastic. I was told by a staff member of the bar that the band had set up a tab which had never been mentioned to me beforehand.
Waddle is a UK-based Pianist, Musical Director and Arranger. Classically trained from the age of seven, Liam played piano in various ensembles and bands around his hometown in North Yorkshire before gaining a place to study at the Royal Northern College of Music. During his time at the college, he was appointed Assistant Musical Director of the RNCM Session Orchestra and won the Principal’s Award for Improvisation before graduating with a First Class Honours degree. Liam has enjoyed the privilege of playing with Gareth Gates, Clare Teal and Laura White. He also performed in the star-studded Michael Jackson tribute show Michael! at London’s O2 Indigo, and before the Prince Of Wales and Duchess Of Cornwall at Leeds’ Howard Assembly Rooms. As MD, Liam's credits range from a production of Oliver! at the beautiful church of St. Giles-in-the-fields in London, to a national pantomime tour of Robin Hood. He is thrilled to be deputising as keyboard player in Bat Out Of Hell, the new musical by Jim Steinman. He is looking forward to expanding his skills as a Musical Director into the world of pop music.
