I am a pianist, an arranger and keyboard programmer based in the U.K.; classically trained, I have a passion for pop songs, jazz standards and theatre. Since graduating from the Royal Northern College of Music with a first class honours degree, I perform regularly with musical theatre orchestras, with jazz ensembles and party bands. Most recently, I was the keyboard 1 player for Cameron Mackintosh's touring production of the Phantom of the Opera. Prior to that, I had worked on Bill Kenwright's Sound Of Music tour and Michael Rose's production of Elf! The Musical, which was broadcast by Channel 4 on Christmas Day 2017. I have performed in several west end productions including Wicked, Aladdin and Bat Out Of Hell: The Musical. I am an active member of the London Musical Theatre Orchestra (LMTO), a vibrant ensemble comprised of the some of the industry’s most talented and passionate musicians. Concerts have included Alan Menken’s A Christmas Carol at the Lyceum Theatre, Ben Forster: Me, Myself and Musicals at the Theatre Royal Haymarket and, most recently, The Best of the West End at the Royal Albert Hall, which has recently been broadcast on BBC Radio 2. I have also played on several recordings with LMTO, including new musical #ZoologicalSociety and KING. I am a founding member of The Tartan Trio Ceilidh Band, work with many different party bands and have a solo ragtime piano show. Alongside performing, I have worked regularly as a keyboard programmer for concerts and I have experience as a rehearsal and audition pianist. I believe in empowering young people through music education, and I have been teaching piano for 15 years, giving lessons in schools and music centres, as well as offering private tuition online and in person.

My wife and I had a black tie/kilted dinner dance recently with over 90 guests of all ages. The highlight of the evening was the Tartan Trio Ceilidh Band .They had everyone up dancing and having fun and with a professional dance caller it all went incredibly well. We would have no hesitation recommending them to anyone looking for a traditional, energetic, professional Ceilidh Band . Many thanks Michael to you and the band for making it such a successful and memorable evening. Joan and Stuart Miller

Reflecting back on our wedding day, Liam was the person who stands out most from our day. His professionalism and music playing are second to none. Many of our guests commented on what a special touch the pianist had brought to our day and how great he was at what he does. He was flexible with our requests to have him play both in the church and at our reception venue and he was outstanding at both. We would highly recommend Liam to play at any event you may have coming up and we can't thank him enough for the happy lasting memories we have from the day. Mr & Mrs Booth x
