Trail-blazing Lia White is a Nottingham born singer-songwriter with an all encompassing passion for writing & performing music. Having first taught herself to play guitar and now also producing, she is honing a sound true to herself, with her vocal presence remaining the core of anything she is involved in. Her sound sits between a balance of electro soul and sweet acoustic melodies. Described by Will.I.am as a cross between Lauryn Hill and Rihanna, she reached the Live Knockouts of the Voice UK 2017. As well as receiving funding from the prestigious PRS Lyndsey de Paul prize. With a range of cover songs spanning from sweet r&b, to classic Motown or pop music, Lia has great adaptability. With a unique angelic sound perfect for special events, making the moment memorable for those listening. However she is also able to bring out a more passionate upbeat side when needed. After graduating with 1st class BA honours degree in 2019, she studied under top songwriters and musicians such as Tim Hawes (songwriter, sugababes, spice girls) Lia is dedicated to her craft and bringing joy to those who hear her perform.

We had Lia singing at our wedding ceremony and for a while afterwards whilst guests were mingling. She was professional, friendly, on time and catered to our requests. She is super talented and has a beautiful voice - our guests loved her! She helped to set a brilliant atmosphere which is exactly what we wanted. We would highly recommend Lia to anyone wanting a musician who adds their own sound to songs you love, she is just super talented! Thank you so much Lia x

We booked Lia for our wedding, she spoke with the venue direct to arrange set up which took some of the stress away from us. Her voice is beautiful, everyone commented on how amazing she was! And the songs that she sang were perfect for our day, we would definitely recommend!

Lia performed for us on our back garden for a birthday party. She was absolutely fantastic and her voice is just amazing. We basically had our own private mini festival and all of our guests loved her. She brought all her own equipment and did a mixture of acoustic tracks and some to backing tracks. We were not disappointed and would definitely recommend her.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I will need at least 2 weeks advance for any timing changes, most of the time I can accomodate these changes

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes Absolutely. I provide a playlist between my sets and whilst setting up/down. for no extra fee I can also Provide Extra music for up to an hour for an extra £100

How much time do you need to set up?

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

My set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best. However, we're definitely happy to chat through and make sure we find what works for your event and guests.
