Leo Playa

Leo Playa is a Session Guitarist, Songwriter & Music Producer from North London & has over 20 years experience of live performances and session work. Leo can play various styles of guitar & has played with some of the UK's top session players. He has played over 1000 gigs and has been cast in various media as a guitarist. Leo started learning to play guitar at 9 years old & began composing his own songs when he was 13. At age 15 he formed the band P.S.I. with some friends who were cast in the BBC TV show GRANGE HILL. At 16 he got into music producing when he bought a 4 track to record the band’s demo. Leo went to Leeds College of Music and graduated in 2001. He then moved back to London where he started producing tracks for a few artists. In 2003 he started getting work as a session guitarist & has since toured with various bands/artists across the UK and Europe to crowds of up to 50,000 people. Leo made his acting debut in 2009 as the bass guitarist in Bollywood movie STRAIGHT. He’s also featured in a few music videos for up and coming solo artists plus in 2010 he was a featured background artists twice in British Soap Opera “Eastenders” & recently in the Sports Relief special of “Only Fools & Horses”.
