Raised in London, Leo Aram-Downs is a 20 year old singer, songwriter and instrumentalist. His music comes from a unique blend of influences ranging from fingerstyle acoustic guitar to gospel to tech metal, and everything in between. Sound-wise, some have called it “Nihilist pop” while others call it “Campfire whiteboy”, and it’s brought to life in intimate acoustic shows and electrifying band performances.
His musical career began at the age of 10, when he first started writing music. At the age of 16, he won a place at The BRIT School For Performing Arts & Technology. Whilst attending BRIT he developed new ways of playing, performing and writing, and by the time he graduated he had a much expanded group of compositions under his belt. Since then he has enrolled at Goldsmiths, University of London and plays regular gigs all over the UK and parts of Europe both as a solo act, and as an “in-demand” session player.
