For as long as I can remember, music has been the centre of my life. This was very much cemented for me when I performed with my school's chamber choir and won various accolades, including a performance at the Royal Festival Hall in the Barnardo's Choir competition. Our choir leader was a specialist music teacher employed at our school to provide a deep understanding of music that I still carry with me to this day. In my years at Secondary I would spend countless hours in the music block with my peers; I never considered another place to spend my free time, and work on my talents. My mother has provided me with vocal coaching for over 10 years now, which I believe to be the reason for my hard work and eventual excellence at music GCSE and A Level, as well as various ABRSM grade examinations. I enjoy performing as it allows me to take a break from the stress of life as a university student, and really be free whilst doing something I love, sharing that with others and those around me. I believe that music is a very constructive thing, it brings people together and can help us in so many ways, which is why performing at your event would be my absolute pleasure.
