Laura Sutherland Sax

Laura Sutherland is an experienced, energetic and engaging saxophonist with a versatile range to suit any event! Laura also performs internationally alongside todays leading DJ's and is always able to get a party started with her incredible 'Sax and DJ' performances. Laura also performs with function bands and original bands in London's top venues and has even performed live on Channel 4. Some of her recent clients include Rolex, Madam Tussauds, The Dorchester Collection to name but a few. Laura graduated with a 1st class BA Hons in Music from Bath Spa University, majoring in jazz performance. Classically trained in both saxophone and piano, Laura has been noted for her outstanding technique. Since graduating she has been touring worldwide with the all girl saxophone quartet 'Saxation'. Background 'Cocktail' Performance Laura is an experienced, professional saxophonist available to make your special day that little more special with her sensational solo sets. She can add that touch of class and create the perfect setting for your wedding, private party or coporate event with her solo performance. A standard performance would be 2 x 45 min sets with a short break in between. Laura provides her own professional PA system with high quality backing tracks. Performing a mixture of jazz, pop, blues, motown, soul and more she can play to suit all tastes. Music can also be played through the system in her breaks. Laura performs with a wireless microphone which gives her freedom to roam whilst playing, making the performance even more entertaining.
