If 6 stars were an option that’s what they’d get⭐️!!! Laura performing at our wedding was the highlight of our day (after becoming Mr & Mrs of-course). Her singing during our ceremony filled our guests with emotion & gave such a personal touch to the service. During our welcome drinks Laura was great at taking requests from guests & really added that extra touch while we were off having our photos taken. To then start off our evening reception Laura was joined by the violinist & they really picked up the pace with some folk music, along with more requests, which ourselves & our guests thoroughly enjoyed! I have to emphasis that every single guest who spoke to us about Laura & the violinist told us it was the best live music they’d ever seen at a wedding!!! If you’re looking for a nice personal touch to your day with something fun & upbeat for later on then these are the people for you! If we could have booked them to play for the whole night we would have! It was sad to say our goodbyes and let them hand over to the dj.

I stumbled across Laura Benjamin whilst at Llanyerch Vineyards wedding Fayre and ended up booking her on the spot for my wedding which was 8 months away. She was a dream to work with, listened to what songs I wanted and gave me suggestion for song ideas. Laura met us at the venue before the wedding to get a feel for set up / spacing. The weather wasn’t the best on the day so she had to stay indoors and made it work. I can’t thank her enough for being a part of my special day x

Customer questions

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I always try my best to accommodate and will be as flexible as I can, as long as you let me know as soon as you're aware that timings have changed to give me time to work around you!

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Absolutely, this is a really popular request, which I regularly carry out with no additional cost. If you would like a DJ service after my set, there is an additional charge, which can be discussed should you wish to add this to your booking

How much time do you need to set up?

I usually only take about 15-20 minutes to set up so I can do this just before I start playing so as not to disrupt your event

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

My set list is incredibly flexible and I take requests at most events. If you have songs you'd specifically like, you can ask me in advance (no less than 2 weeks before the event) and I'll be sure to include them!

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

I do indeed! All I need is access to one plug point!

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Yes I can! As long as you give me reasonable notice, I can learn special songs for you. If this song is a first dance there is a £30 charge on top of the fee but other than that, just ask!

What do your clients love most about your performances?

I am incredibly flexible! I can provide chilled out acoustic music or upbeat sets to get the crowd going. I will always go above and beyond to ensure you get everything you want from your booking with me

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

Some of the most popular venues I've played at include Llanerch Vineyard, Margam Orangery, Bryngarw House, Oxwich Bay, Oldwalls, The Towers Hotel and many of the most popular live music venues in Swansea and Cardiff.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

Tough choice! But I'd have to say Stevie Nicks, Ed Sheeran and Dolly Parton

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

I sung really loudly at a Fleetwood Mac gig once... does that count?
