Laura is a professional actor and singer. Her classical vocal training began aged 13 as she trained with the London College of Music working from grade 1 through to diploma level before finally becoming an associate of the London College of Music and receiving her ALCM (TD) to qualify as a vocal coach/singing teacher. Laura has been working as a wedding singer for over 5 years and is dedicated to providing a high quality service. Whilst always being passionate about singing Laura is also a trained actor and received her BA(hons) Acting degree from The Manchester School of Theatre (Man Met Drama School) and upon graduating received the role of Jane Henshaw on Coronation street. Laura is vocally trained in classical, light opera, musical theatre, contemporary vocals and also covers pop. She regularly performs with The Two Pianos singing 50s rock n’ roll and will be performing at The Hull New Theatre in February 2020.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

Laura will always try to be as flexible as possible, to help you ensure stress free planning. As soon as you have a confirmed timeline for your wedding day/event please send them across to me.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Laura is happy to play a pre-arranged playlist for you inbetween sets. This is usually done through spotify.

How much time do you need to set up?

1 hour previous to performance. This is to ensure a short soundcheck of 15 minutes prior to guests arrival.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

Laura will share her music suggestions with you and is happy to take requests. If it is a song that Laura does not have in her repertoire Laura is happy to accommodate but their will be a small additional fee.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes. Absolutely! I bring my own equipment and backing tracks.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

Of course! If a song isn't included in my song list there may still be a chance I already know it. If there is a special song you'd like me to learn, we are happy to do this for you. There is a small fee for this service to take into account rehearsal times and music.
