Are you looking for the best jazz and swing from the last century? The girls of Lady be Good have it covered. From Ella Fitzgerald through to Caro Emerald, and Frank Sinatra to Michael Buble, we just love to play your favourite songs. Our talented vocalists don't stop at jazz classics. Fancy a bit of Stevie Wonder or Neil Diamond? No problem. We always tailor our setlist for our clients, even if you want just Glen Miller style 1940s or the whole of the Robbie Williams "Swing While You're Winning" album. We have all the moods covered; smoochy, sophisticated or just plain fun. We love a party!

An absolutely outstanding gig today. Thank you all so much. Honestly, I'm not just saying it, today I had the best feedback I've had after any gig. Awesome. So many happy faces.

Charlotte and I would like to thank all of you at Lady Be Good for your performance, you were utterly fantastic and exactly what we wanted and hoped for. We have had a lot of comments on how amazing you guys were. Your performance of “Make you feel my love” which we danced to, was something that we will remember for the rest of our lives. Again thank you so much for making our special day even more special Thanks Mr and Mrs Wood (10 / 10)

Customer questions

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

Our primary video shows our current singers, with the older video featuring our previous singer. We would not take a booking with a different vocalist without discussing options with you first. In the event of illness of either singer on the day of an event, we have a number of exceptional guests available to ensure your event goes as planned.

Do you have different line-up options?

Our instrumental line-up is 4 saxes, piano, bass and drums with male and female vocalists. We can perform as a purely instrumental ensemble for background music if you prefer too.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

No problem. We may need to discuss if your change in timings means we have to stay after midnight, but we are very flexible otherwise.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Absolutely. You can provide your own, or for a negotiable additional fee (depending on timings) we can run one for you till the end of your event.

How much time do you need to set up?

We usually set up 2 hours before the performance to give us time to sound check before guests arrive and then glam up :)

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Of course. We know how important it is to set the right atmosphere for your event. Our setlist has quiet and gentle through to fun and lively, so needs to be tailored to your event.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Yes

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Yes we can. However, most songs need to be specially arranged so we would typically add on £50 to cover expenses. If it is the first dance at your wedding we will throw that in free of charge though. We want your day to be special!

What do your clients love most about your performances?

Clients love the sophisticated style we bring, as well as the top class musicianship. Our vocalists bring an air of cheeky fun when required or spine tingling moments of quietness.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

Lots of hotels to be honest. We play twice a year at the Jazzamatazz club in Coventry. Contact us for more details and if you'd like to see us in action

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, Michael Buble, Caro Emerald to name but a few.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

Probably the Lib Dem post-conference party, with John Hemming MP as our guest piano player!
