London Musical Theatre Orchestra (LMTO)

The London Musical Theatre Orchestra is a professional orchestra that aims to develop and promote the art of musical theatre for the public benefit. Our mission is to provide the public with the very highest quality musical theatre concerts. The orchestra is unique in several respects: it is the only professional orchestra in the world that is dedicated solely to musical theatre, it provides unmatched opportunities for developing musicians to experience playing musical theatre repertoire, and it is made up solely of musicians who are passionate about musical theatre. LMTO performs several concerts per year at venues in and around London, and has recently been seen at Cadogan Hall, the Lyceum Theatre, the London Palladium and St Albans Cathedral. LMTO is also passionate about the development of musicians. Every time the orchestra performs, at least a quarter of its positions will be filled by the most talented developing professional musicians.
