Violinist

I have played the violin professionally for the last twenty-five years. I trained at the Guildhall School of Music, then attained the DIP.T.C.L at the Trinity College of Music under the direction of Simon Fischer, Alexander Balenescu, Michael Thomas and Steven Gutman . During and after my studies, my career has been in the UK, Barcelona, Japan and Chile. In addition to this I also teach, run extracurricular youth ensembles, as well as having a broad experience in the organisation, production and executive direction on a number of chamber groups and other orchestra; travelling and touring with them around the world. I have a broad interest in a variety of musical styles and violin techniques but my particular interests are in chamber music, in bridging the gap between musical genres, and in musical theatre.
