About Kyle Fearon-Wilson

Kyle Fearon-Wilson graduated with first class honours from his Bachelor of Music degree in classical voice in 2024 under the guidance of Ms. Gundula Schneider (Hochschule für Musik Carl Maria von Weber Dresden). He is currently pursuing a Masters of Music in the opera class with the same teacher. He also graduated from the Stuttgart Hochschule für Musik und darstellende Kunst with a Bachelor of Music under the tutelage of Prof. Kolja Lessing and Prof. Sarah Christian (Concertmaster of the Deutsche Philharmonie Bremen) In 2011, Kyle accepted a full scholarship to study at The Purcell School of Music where he studied with Carol Slater, Carmel Kaine and Nathaniel Vallois. He moved to Germany in 2015 to pursue a Bachelor’s degree during which his talent for singing was discovered. He started his formal singing lessons in 2018 with his teacher Ms. Gundula Schneider and started his bachelor‘s degree in classical voice in 2019. He was the recipient of the Ad Infinitum scholarship in 2022 after a successful audition. Kyle has been performing on stage in various productions in opera choruses and made his solo debut in 2020 in the role of „Der Gerichtsvollzieher“ in Kurt Weills opera „der Kuhhandel“ in the Isny Opera Festival. He has subsequently performed the roles of Dick (Street Scene), Ozia in the staged production of the oratorio „La betulia liberata“ by W.A. Mozart in Angermünde, Podestà in the opera „La finta giardiniera“ by the same composer in the kleines Haus Dresden and „Engel der Sanftmut“ in the opera „Dante“ by renowned composer Patrick Cassidy in the Hof Theater. He made his debut with the Sorbisches Ensemble Bautzen for their annual New Years Gala, during which he went on tour with them to various German cities as well as Switzerland. Kyle also regularly performs cantatas by Bach, Telemann as well as many modern composers and made his debut performing Bach‘s Christmas Oratorio as the Evangelist. He has been invited to sing various songs from Schubert‘s song cycle „die schöne Müllerin“ in the Wagner Museum in Graupa. Kyle has also had the pleasure to sing in masterclasses with renowned singers as well as Lieder pianists such as Bo Skohvus, Nikola Hillebrand, Daniel Heide and Prof. Alexander Fleischer.
