From the age of 8, Kristian has always been passionate about playing the guitar. Having been introduced to it by his father, guitar had been a part of his life since birth. When he started to learn with his first teacher, Christopher Stell, he showed a natural aptitude for it, completing his Grade 8 Guitar when he was 12 and his first diploma of Guitar performance when he was 14. In 2012, he went to study at Peter Symonds College, in Winchester, as 1 of 12 students on the Hampshire Specialist Music Course. This was geared towards learning skills in Chamber music, and Kristian learnt to play with singers, flautists, violinist, string quartets ect. He is now studying under Christopher Stell again, at the Royal College of Music and will graduate in 2018. Kristian has also performed for many guitarists in masterclasses and lessons with Martha Masters, Benjamin Verdery, Xuifei Yang, and Antigoni Goni.
