The Kris Nock Big Band

It has been such a pleasure to work with The Kris Nock Big Band over the past few years. The band have played on stage at our outdoor community festival to packed audiences on all occasions! Professional, uplifting, cross - generational appeal and fun - they are the perfect festival sound! It is also a pleasure to deal with Kris - nothing is too much trouble and arrangements are always easy (no small task when bringing a band onto a field!) Obviously COVID saw off the festival this year but we will be back in 2021 and very much hope that the band will be joining us!

We were delighted that Kris accepted our invitation to bring the Kris Nock big band along to the IMG Bristol contest. I've known Kris for some years through Drum Corps but I hadn't seen the Big Band before so was looking forward to seeing what they were going to do. They produced an excellent show of entertaining quality music featuring talented soloists in all sections. I particularly enjoyed their arrangement of rhapsody in blue and spectators were amazed when we announced that it was their first public performance. I look forward to seeing them again at next years show.
