About Kit Packham & John O'Reilly

Jazz duo
Caterham
Public liability insurance of £10 million
Kit (saxes, harmonicas & vocal) & John (guitars, vocal) play jazz, blues and "oldies" especially 1960s songs, often harmonising on vocals.

John first met Kit when guesting on guitar with the band One Jump Ahead, which Kit leads (and whose profile is also on Encore). They discovered a common love of 1960s songs by artists like the Everly Brothers, Sam Cooke and the Drifters as well as blues and jazz material. They began performing as a duo and started writing songs together. Like many professional musicians, they each perform with a number of different bands and also work as soloists. Such is the demand for their services that they don't get the chance to work as a duo as often as they'd like but they're always open to offers!
