Graduating from Cardiff University last summer, Kieran is currently working as Development Assistant for the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in London. As a chorister Kieran has gained a wealth of experience singing with Four Counties Youth Choir, former winners of choir of the world: Sirenian Singers, Cardiff University Chamber Choir, Opera Society and the Contemporary Music Group. As well as singing, Kieran is a keen conductor and was fortunate to have roles such as Assistant Conductor of the Symphony Chorus, conductor of the Palestrina Singers of Cardiff University and conductor of the Cardiff University Male Voice Choir. As a soloist, under the direction of renowned soprano Gail Pearson, Kieran has performed tenor roles in Haydn’s ‘The Creation’, Schubert’s ‘Mass in G’, Rachmaninov – Vespers , Mozart’s ‘Requiem’ and ‘The Armed Man’, with large chorus and orchestra. Kieran has also performed on BBC Radio Three, as a soloist with Rhos Male Voice Choir, BBC Radio Wales, S4C Dechrau Canu Dechrau Canmol and is a recipient of the Sir Geraint Evans Prize acknowledging his excellant vocal performance in vocal recitals with performances in the UK and Europe. With a keen aspiration to perform and teach, Kieran hopes to further his study of voice and conducting at postgraduate level in the future.
