Keys & Co are Martin and Kim, a husband-and-wife instrumental duo based in Great Witley, Worcestershire. We perform elegant, expressive live music for weddings, private parties, corporate events and special occasions, combining live keyboards, clarinet and Wind Synth to create a polished, full and memorable sound.
Music has always been at the heart of what we do. For us, performing is not just about playing the right notes; it is about creating atmosphere, reading the room and helping people feel something special. Whether we are playing for a wedding ceremony, drinks reception, wedding breakfast, private celebration or corporate event, our aim is always to enhance the occasion without overpowering it.
Kim is a highly trained musician with a background in clarinet and piano, having studied at the Royal Academy of Music. Her clarinet playing brings warmth, elegance and expression to the duo. She also performs using a Wind Synth, which allows us to add a much wider sound palette, including saxophone-style tones, flute, trumpet, violin-style lead sounds, strings and other expressive instrumental colours. This gives Keys & Co a fuller and more varied sound than many people would expect from a duo, while keeping the setup stylish, compact and suitable for a wide range of venues.
Martin has many years of experience as a keyboard player, live performer and musical collaborator. He has performed in a wide range of live music settings and has had the pleasure of collaborating with many well-known musicians over the years. This experience has shaped his approach to performance: professional, tasteful, responsive and always focused on what best serves the music and the occasion.
Within Keys & Co, Martin creates the musical foundation and arrangements that support Kim’s expressive lead playing. His keyboard work helps give each piece the right feel, whether that is romantic and understated, smooth and relaxed, sophisticated and jazzy, or more upbeat and uplifting. Together, Martin and Kim create a sound that is carefully arranged, polished and personal.
Our repertoire covers a broad mix of styles including jazz, Latin, classical, cinematic music, pop favourites and timeless standards. This gives us the flexibility to tailor our performance to each event, from refined ceremony music and elegant background music through to stylish jazz, Latin rhythms and familiar songs that guests will recognise and enjoy. We are also happy to discuss special requests for key moments, especially for weddings where the right piece of music can make a ceremony feel even more personal.
