What if my timings change after I've booked you?
I understand that all timings are fluid and things do change. I always try my best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know, I am more than happy to accommodate changes.
Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?
have never been asked this before. I have never recorded myself (I really am self critical) there are I believe you tube clips. happy to try and do a copy for you but have found that some recordings can be a little ‘tinny’ and don’t give the tone and depth of the pipes. Happy to play for you if your neighbours are understanding or a use my chanter instead
How much time do you need to set up?
Depending on which style of dress you require on the day, including tuning of the bagpipes approximately an hour before performing.
Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?
Yes of course, if you have a particular tune in mind please let me know as soon as possible in case I need to learn or refresh my memory of it.
Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?
Yes, including a wee dram if required for a toast ( I like this bit)
Can you learn specific pieces before the event?
Yes, the sooner you let me know the piece the better. On average I am learning or refreshing two tunes at a time

My professionalism, good humour, the ability to mix with the crowd
Which venues have you performed at in the past?
I have performed internationally in military tattoos, supported rock stars like Rod Stewart, local village fates and charity functions, churches, ships, piped HMS from Portsmouth several times, firework displays honestly, the list is long.

Royal Scots Dragoon Guards pipes and drums
What is the most high profile gig you've performed?
Military Tattoos at home and abroad, centotaph in London and piped the queens birthday too.
