Customer questions

What do your clients love most about your performances?

Stunning musicianship, beautifully crafted arrangements, great invigorating energy.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

Buckingham Palace, Winchester Cathedral, Southwark Cathedral, Westminster Abbey, Royal Albert Hall, Kensington Palace, St. John's Smith Square and many more! Multiple exclusive wedding venues and garden parties: Marlborough House, Lincoln's Inn, Bardfield Lodge etc.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

We take influence from all areas! As a classical brass ensemble, any great string quartet or chamber music group. In our lighter music sets, artists like Frank Sinatra, Dorris Day, Nelson Riddle and Ella Fitzgerald. We constantly arrange and perform pop/funk/soul music as requests, so plenty of influence there too!

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

Easter Sunday Eucharist services at Westminster Abbey Carols by Candlelight at Kensington Palace Aston Martin 100th Anniversary in Hyde Park

Do you have different line-up options?

We are a wider Symphonic Brass Ensemble of 10 players, including trumpets, horn, trombones and tuba. Regular options: Brass trio, 3 musicians Brass quintet, 5 (2 trumpets, horn, trombone tuba) Brass dectet, 10 (4 trumpets, horn, 4 trombones tuba) Quintet is most common for many reasons, including varied repertoire, cost, endurance and volume.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We try to maintain an element of flexibility and good nature, so please just let us know as soon as possible if there are any changes to your schedule. Changes on the day due to late brides and over-running speeches/mealtimes etc. may mean you do not get the full performance length booked.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

This is not something we provide, as an analogue brass group we pride ourselves on not needing power and being able to play anywhere you put us!

How much time do you need to set up?

Being an analogue group with no mixing desks or electronics, our set up is exceptionally quick, a few music stands and instruments and we're ready to go in 10-20 minutes!

Can you roam around while you perform?

We play from sheet music, so we do not move around during the playing of pieces. However, if you wanted different sets in different locations for your event then we are extremely adaptable and easy to move! This is common for parties, where we might play a nice indoor service/event and then retreat outside for a sunny garden playlist.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Our set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to ensure patrons an amazing ambience. However, we're definitely happy to chat through and make sure we find what works for your event. We have the world's best brass arrangers on hand for any repertoire requests you might have!

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Yes.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Yes.
