I am a self-contained musical performer (own PA) covering music from 1960s era to the most up to date contemporary work. My style is very stripped back and simple, singing and playing just guitar or piano as accompaniment.  This allows me to be flexible to the needs of my audience and clients both in advance and in the moment.   I trained in many styles from an early age and this allows me now to be comfortable with music from just about any genre, as you will see from my setlist.  If you don't see it on my setlist but you really want to hear it, just ask!  Started playing guitar when I was 5, singing probably around the same time - although my Grandmother always said I would hum tunes before I could speak! I started gigging at university and have played in bands, run open mics and directed music and theatre for more than 20 years now. I recently completed an MA in Songwriting and I try to approach all music with a creative and fresh approach. And I love to play any event where I can play my small part in getting the party started! I consider it a real privilege to be invited to entertain at important moments in people's lives so I will always do everything I can to provide the best soundtrack!
