Kelly Cranston

Kelly has been part of the local music in the West Midlands for some years now, and has sung with, and sung backing vocals for, many artistes; now she has emerged from the shadows as a fully-fledged performer in her own right. And what a performer!Kelly is one of the most exciting rising performers produced by the UK in years, and draws on influences as diverse as Gospel, Soul, Blues, Folk and Jazz. In fact, her repertoire covers all the decades from the Fifties right up to the present day. From Louis Armstrong and Ella, to Stevie Wonder, Pharrell and Zara Larsson, plus a few surprise inclusions! Corporate entertainments and special events are her speciality, although she considers no event too big or too small. Kelly does her upmost to provide a sense of joy to the events she caters for. With an extensive and always expanding set-list, Kelly will engage the audience and adapt the show to suit the mood of the event exactly providing a much wider listening experience than would be expected of just two musicians. Kelly is joined on stage by her old mate and local guitar hero Mike Joyce – a man who is a living legend in his own lunchtime! Mike has been involved in the local and national band scene since the Seventies. Kelly and Mike actually met at school – no mean feat given that there's so many years between them – but that's another story…
