Classically trained pianist and singer songwriter Keith Nolan has been active in the music industry for more than thirty years.
Born in Ireland, he spent just under a decade in Australia, playing music in local Melbourne venues and recording with many local bands including blues stalwarts Dutch Tilders , Geoff Achison and The Whipping Post and in 199 joined the legendary Yothu Yindi band on its hugely successful Australian , Asian and European world tour that included an appearance at Glastonbury Festival. He also toured Asia with Zakiya Hooker daughter of legendary blues artist John Lee Hooker.
Based in Asia for the last twenty years, Keith has worked as a professional musician fronting his own bands, including appearances at blues and jazz festivals in Thailand, Cambodia, Singapore and Vietnam.
Currently as a vocalist and keyboard player Keith performs in Bangkok with his 4-piece groove blues band Cotton Mouth with an planned in 2016.
For over 20 years as a composer he has worked on commercials for a broad range of clients, including Coca-Cola, HSBC, Dove, Toyota, Honda, Red Bull and Nescafé.
In the documentary film field he has performed the task of composer/producer on productions by television companies in Asia, Australia the USA and Europe, including the Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, the BBC and CNN.
Over the years Keith has composed several designer “New Age”, relaxation spa music for 5 star award winning resorts and spa’s through out Asia.
In Thailand Keith has played keyboards, recorded and written songs for many Grammy music artists including Silly Fools, Briohny, Mint, Bee Koh Saxman, Be Peropat, Kong and Fly.
He has developed a personal library with large number of original music tracks available for licensing globally and currently has over 200 pieces of music registered with APRA-AMCOS
Keith also currently presents and produces and presents two cable TV shows for Capitol TV Group, Bangkok.
