Kayvon Nabijou

Hello! I'm Kayvon - an experienced pianist with over 20 years of classical and jazz training. I have a decade of experience playing as a regular cocktail pianist in the London circuit, as well as a variety of events including weddings, corporate functions, après ski venues, hotel lounges and private parties. I honed my skills primarily as the resident pianist at the Bristol Hippodrome and have gone on to perform international tours, as a solo act as well as with a variety of bands. I was initially classically-trained as a pianist, giving me a firm technical basis on which to develop musicality. In recent years, I have honed my skills in jazz, pop, funk and soul, allowing me to play in a wide variety of styles and genres. Depending on the size and vibe of your event, I can offer a range of ensemble sizes, ranging from simply myself and a piano up to a full 8-piece swingin’ jazz and pop outfit. From background jazz to high-energy funk and soul, we can find the right energy, perfectly suited to your requirements. I greatly enjoy playing the piano, in seeing how it adds to the atmosphere of the environment I am in, and how it brings happiness to people listening. I am versatile and adept at responding sensitively to the ambience of the space I am in, perfectly matching the desired mood of any setting or event.
