About Kaya

Professional singer/songwriter and guitarist available for session work and performances
Kaya Music's profile picture
Public liability insurance of £1 million

My name's Kaya I'm a 27 year old singer/songwriter and musician from North London. I mainly play electric guitar however I also play harmonica, ukulele and bass. I can play various genres of music although I'd say the genres I specialise in are: Blues, Blues-rock, Psychedelic rock, Hard rock, Classic rock, Funk, Funk-rock, Jazz, Soul, R&B, Psychedelic Soul, Folk, Folk-rock and Country. I have a very good understanding of music, I have plenty of experience in session work, gigging and teaching/tutoring. I attended City & Islington college and did a National BTEC diploma in Contemporary music and performance. I'm very disciplined, consistent and patient when it comes to what I do, I'd say I'm a bubbly, easy going individual who’s organised and respectful, so if you're looking for somebody with those attributes feel free to get in touch. If you'd like some more links to my work, references or more information don't hesitate to contact me. Thank you for your time, Kind regards Kaya

Kaya has played at 26 Leake Street several times, both solo and within a band. He has been kind and flexible enough to support solo vocalists also, playing brilliantly demonstrating huge versatility, and a great level of skill. I have personally watched him silence a room with his brilliant finger work, and expertly crafted riffs. It’s a pleasure to have him play at the venue any time.
