Katrina Lauder was born in Winchester, Hampshire. Early French horn studies took place in Buckinghamshire with David Lack. She then went on to study with Robert Ashworth at the Royal Northern College of Music. Katrina enjoys a varied freelance career playing everything from symphonic repertoire to touring with Sting and playing in the West End. She is principle horn of The National Festival Orchestra. Conducting is an area of music that has always been of interest. She is currently the co musical director of the London Gay Symphonic Winds. In her spare time she loves gardening and listening to opera and Katrina is a reiki master.
