Customer questions

What do your clients love most about your performances?

Most clients have loved the stripped back and relaxing feel particularly during the ceremony before, during and after and the drinks reception. They also really enjoyed the contrast between a slower, stripped back and acoustic set with a more upbeat and fun set.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

Stereo Audio The Classic Grand The Old Fruitmarket George Square Ivory Blacks The Hug and Pint The Space The Redstones Hotel 55 Bar and Grill Box Glasgow University Union The Salmon Leap Pollokshields Burgh Hall Paris Birmingham Conservatoire Park Bar Wild Cabaret

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

I have been influenced by many artists including but not limited to Fleetwood Mac, Queen, ABBA, Stevie Wonder, Adele, Norah Jones, Ludovico Einaudi, Ben Howard, Alice in Chains, Atreyu, Audioslave, Thrice, Bring Me the Horizon, The Pretty Reckless, Halestorm, Billie Eilish, CHVRCHES, The Civil Wars, Kodaline, Dua Lipa, Ariana Grande, Royal Blood, Tom Odell.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

I have performed at many many gigs over the years but the most high profile gig I have performed at was as part of my old jazz band for a sports event for Lord Sebastian Coe. We played as people walked in the door, background music essentially.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

That is not a problem, things can and do change. All I ask is that you please do let me know as soon in advance as possible in the event I need to make any changes etc.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

I can provide a Spotify playlist upon request. I can provide this for free if the venue doesn't already play music themselves.

How much time do you need to set up?

It usually takes me around 45 minutes-1hr to set up but I usually like to take a full hour to ensure everything is ready to go and the sound is perfect for your event. As soon as I'm set up, I can provide a Spotify playlist for background music until it's time for myself to play.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

If that is something you would be interested in, I am of course happy to have a chat. I craft my set lists based on what I feel is perfect for your event and feedback from guests from previous performances. But please do let me know if this is something you would like to have a chat about!

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Absolutely, I have all my own gear but will always double check with the venue in the event they have their own gear too.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

If you would like specific songs for your event, that is absolutely no issue. All I would ask is that you request these songs well in advance so it gives me enough time to learn and prepare these requested songs. There is a fee of £15 for any extra/requested songs to take into account rehearsal times etc.
