Katie Ritson

Katie Ritson is a fine singer with flexibility and musicality in her voice. She uses ornamentation to great effect and is a grounded, and engaging performer with a solid guitar style.

I heard Katie sing live for the first time at Stepping Stones Festival and was impressed with her truthful delivery and lovely, fluid voice that seems to glide effortlessly between folk, contemporary pop and even little notes of Nashville. She's a very good interpreter of other peoples' songs, but it's actually her own tunes and words that make her a real contender out there in the field.
