Katie, 21, is a soprano from Hampshire. She has just finished a degree in History at Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge, where she was the Sir Keith Stuart choral scholar. Her recent opera roles include Janáček’s The Cunning Little Vixen (Woodpecker, CUOS, 2013); Haydn’s The Desert Island (Costanza, Gonville and Caius Music Society, GCMS, 2013) and Handel’s Semele (Semele, CUOS, 2014). Other solo engagements include Schumann’s Szenen aus Goethes Faust (GCMS), Mozart's Requiem (King's College Music Society) and as a step-out soloist with the Choir of Gonville & Caius College and the Orchestre National Bordeaux Aquitaine in Bach’s St Matthew Passion. Katie also co-founded and managed Gonville Girls, a recently formed all-female a capella group consisting of the women of Caius College Choir. Between September and December 2015, Katie will be living and working in Oxford.
