Katherine Robb is a freelance violinist based in London, who is a graduated scholar from the Royal College of Music, and who studied for 8 years at the Purcell School of Music. She has studied with prestigious teachers Erik Houston and Berent Korfker.
As a violinist, Katherine regularly performs a wide variety of genres. She has performed in the London leg of Amanda Palmer and the Grand Theft Orchestra's tour at The Village Underground, and has performed at Glastonbury Music Festival on the Pyramid Stage.
As well as pop and rock music, Katherine also performs Musical Theatre and has played in 'Kings of Broadway' (Palace Theatre), 'Sunset Boulevard' (The Yvonne Arnaud Theatre), 'You Won't Succeed On Broadway If You Don't Have Any Jews' (St. James' Theatre), 'Dogfight' (The Southwark Playhouse), 'Whistle Down The Wind' (The Union Theatre), 'Love Story' (The Union Theatre) and 'Titanic' (The Southwark Playhouse).
As a classical orchestral player, Katherine has performed at Royal Festival Hall, The Royal Albert Hall, The Sage Gateshead, The Barbican, The Queen Elizabeth Hall, Leeds Town Hall, as well as going on tour in Beijing and Xi'An in China.
