I am an Afrobeat artist from Koforidua, Ghana. I come from a musical family, and came into music singing in church. As time went on, I fell in love with writing songs and poetry; creating just gives me purpose and made me fall in love with music! As time went on, I then decided this was truly my life’s path. I have taken my music seriously since high school by constantly writing, recording, performing live, doing interviews, and making connections. I pretty much live, breath and eat music every day. Music is my life! Over the last few years, my hard work has brought many opportunities to create and grow as an artist! I am well known for the following Afrobeat hits: "Corona", "Yesu Mogya", "Libation Series 1 through 8", "Opono Hini Me" and many more. Being from the Eastern region of Ghana, I reside in a very music-filled region with a lot of rising stars (including myself ;-)). I am super dedicated to my music and spend most of my time recording, touring locally, and creating videos. My ultimate dream is to travel and tour the world to perform in large concerts with tens of thousands of attendees! It is for sure a huge challenge but for me, I look forward to that day because I really do enjoy performing! My live performances are very engaging and include singing, rapping, choreography, and special effects. My DJ performs between sets. I usually perform original songs I’ve written; however, I am very flexible and have no problem performing songs requested by the audience. I love engaging the audience and always encourage crowd participation. I always give my best performances for my audiences and to make sure they are having a great time! My career highlights include performing at the well known EID concert in Ghana, being a Koforidua Music Award 2023 nominee for Artist of the Year, Best Song of the Year (Opono Hini Me) and Best Hip Hop/Rap Song of the Year (Opono Hini Me), and Emerging Music Award 2020 nominee for Reggae Song of the Year (Wiase NY3D3). I am also the co-creator of Ghana Meets USA benefit concert for those affected by Hurricane Ida and creator and writer for the African Poet Palace TV show streaming on PlayMe TV (Roku Channel). With all of these accomplishments, I am always working to be a better singer and performer because as I said, music is my first love. This is why I am here on Encore: to increase my interactions with a global audience, and further my career as an Afrobeat/World music singer. I love to sing, perform for others, and make people happy! I feel that my purpose in this world is to do this through my gift of song. I also love to laugh and have fun. I know how to make people feel good about themselves. These are my gifts that I feel can be best used not just on this platform, but anywhere!
