Hi, I’m Kat, an acoustic solo musician. I play laid back/lounge versions of popular songs from across the decades in a soulful/jazzy style. I tend to get booked for the champagne reception part of weddings as my set really suits the atmosphere. I also play at bars and restaurants across the midlands but am happy to travel further out as long as travel costs are taken into account. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions/requests.

Saw you perform in Gilt in Bingham on Thursday 25 July - great vocals and set list and amazing versions of dance classics!! Looking forward to 17 August at The Sir John Borlase Warren!!

I saw Kat play at Gilt in Bingham on Thursday night. I was intending on getting the 7pm bus back to Nottingham but stayed to listen to her play and sing (suffice to say I didn't get the 7pm bus and got home much much later after staying until her set had finished). It was an unexpected joy to listen to her sing and play guitar. Kat's set was filled with good solid pub classics from the 60s up to the 2000s played in a cool laid back jazz style. Her warm and evocative voice perfectly matched by her sensitive guitar playing. Kat managed to surprise and entertain as she included a couple of dance anthems and a Depeche Mode song that I would not have believed could be played in a jazz style and to such a great effect. Had I not stayed I would have missed a real treat and if you haven't had the chance to see Kat perform I urge you to do so as soon as possible (I certainly will when she plays at the Sir John Borlase Warren, Canning Circus, Nottingham on Saturday 17 August. Kat thank you for a great evening!

Customer questions

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I always try my best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let me know.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Unfortunately i don't provide this service as i tend to get booked for events where it isn't necessary.

How much time do you need to set up?

I always like to have at least an hour to set up and ensure everything is sounding good and looking tidy.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

Of course and if you have any particular requests for songs that you don't see on the list, please let me know and i'd be happy to accommodate you.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes, i bring my own PA system. The only thing i require is a power point.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

I can indeed.
