I was born into a musical family and played piano, descant, treble and tenor recorders and saxophone at school, I was also a member of the school orchestra and choirs. I always loved singing from a very early age and performed my first cabaret at 16 years old singing 3 songs with a live band backing me. There were subsequent cabaret appearances over the next 5 years until I joined a function band in my early 20’s. I then took the band over and ran it for a further 15 years performing at Masonic functions, weddings, private parties, corporate events etc. I have recorded 2 cd’s Recent vocal history: Lead Singer with Rockabilly band ‘Jive Agents’ Lead Singer with Function-pub band Present day: Lead singer with ‘60’s/70's band ‘White Plains’ Part of male/female duo covering ‘60’s music ‘Karen & Pete' I love Theatre work and being in the recording studio and I have sung at Church weddings, and solo gigs with backing tracks

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I always try my best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let me know.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Absolutely. This is a really popular request and I actually offer this service for free.

How much time do you need to set up?

I usually set up about 1 to 1.5 hours before the performance time. As soon as my PA is set up I can provide a free playlist service to help set the atmosphere and get your guests ready for the live performance!

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

My set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to ensure guests dance and have an amazing time. However, I'm definitely happy to chat through and make sure I find what works for your event.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes, absolutely! I bring my own PA and backing tracks

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

If a song isn't included in my song list there may still be a chance I already know it. If there is a special song you'd like me to learn I am happy to do this for you. There is a fee of £30 for this service to take into account rehearsal times etc.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

Clients have said that they love the variety of styles of music I perform and the fact that I talk to the crowd and also the fact that I'm very reliable, professional and versatile.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

I have performed at private parties, weddings, U3A meetings and WI events plus cabaret at The Meads Ballroom Brentwood.

Barbra Streisand, Dusty Springfield, Connie Francis, Shirley Bassey, Linda Ronstadt, Bonnie Raitt.... the list is endless!!
