Karen has spent the major part of her professional career encouraging excellence in music for dance. She has worked for most of the UK Ballet companies whether as a staff member, freelance musician or contract player. Her work with Scottish Ballet has spanned 20 years and in the past 5 years has been coaching young musicians in a unique postgraduate Master of Music programme in association with the Scottish Ballet company and the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
