I perform music because it’s the one thing that has always felt both inevitable and natural for me. From my early and teenage years in Zimbabwe, I was drawn to the way songs can completely transform a moment, whether that’s turning silence into reflection or turning a room full of strangers into a dance floor. Performing live allows me to bring that honesty into spaces where people are connecting, and creating memories. My qualifications as a musician come from years of formal training and real experience. I’ve studied music academically and practically, which gave me the technical understanding to back up my natural instincts as a performer. Alongside that, I’ve worked as a songwriter, collaborated with other musicians, and honed my craft through countless hours of rehearsal, recording, and performing. I’m also a student of the industry. Studying not just how music is made, but also how it’s presented, how it impacts people, and how to make it resonate with different audiences. The combination of formal learning and lived experience has shaped me into a musician who understands both the artistry and the professionalism required to deliver reliably for clients. In terms of performance highlights, I’ve had the chance to be featured on BBC radio several times, performed across multiple gigs and festivals, locally and in London, which was both nerve-wracking and validating. One of my most memorable live moments was collaborating on an acoustic project called Breaking and Falling, a song about loving someone so deeply it almost hurts. The kind of raw emotion that reminds me why live music is so powerful. What sets me apart as an act is a combination of versatility, and personality. With my Zimbabwean born and bred background, fused with my natural intuition for pop and R&BI bring a modern edge when the occasion calls for it. I’m reliable and punctual and I treat every booking with the same level of care. What you will get is a musician who knows her craft and tries to adapt to the room.
