KPQ - Jazz Quartet is led by drummer Kari Paavola, who has been a professional musician, band leader, and events entertainment creator for over 20 years. Kari has experience working in all the Mayfair private members clubs, as well as A-lister events for celebrities and high net worth clients. KPQ's musicians Frank, Andrew and Matias with Kari have over 10.000 concerts under their belt and have performed and toured the world with the biggest names in the industry both in jazz as well as pop, such as: Amy Winehouse, Tom Jones, Shakira, Mark Ronson, Enrique Inglesias, Womack and Womack, and in the jazz/soul world with Vanessa Haynes, Stacy Kent, Sheila Jordan, Noel McKoy, Omar Lye-Hook MBE, Imaani and many many others. The band plays The Standards from the great American song book, and also some selected pop, rock and evergreens, as jazz versions, creating a recognizable mood and music, while still bringing in the sophistication of Jazz.
