What do your clients love most about your performances?

Previous clients & audiences have remarked on the great range of songs & artists, noting the choices not frequently heard by live artists. They love the creativity in the looping & the complex nature of the songs being played. They comment consistently on the beauty in the vocal harmony and the impressive nature of the vocal range, tone & ability.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

Aaron & Ally have individually performed all over: Keynsham Music Festival Bristol Harbourfest "Dubbed Out" VW Festivals Cavern Club Liverpool O2 London Bristol Beacon And absolutely countless local venues in and around the UK - Bristol, South Wales, London, Cheltenham, Birmingham, Liverpool, Leeds, Manchester, Glasgow & Edinburgh.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

Ally's vocals take inspiration from the likes of Alicia Keys & Lauryn Hill, and her performance style is that of classic Funk & Soul acts like Whitney Houston & Tina Turner. Aaron's playing comes from studying technical & extreme guitar-centric genres of the past forty years, and his vocal style spans a range of influences from Metallica to James Brown.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

The high profile shows include performing at the infamous Cavern Club, as well as performing for the thousands in attendance at Keynsham Music Festival, and the VW "Dubbed Out" festivals which had acts such as Toploader & East 17. We've performed for corporate entities including Dyson, Nisbets and Caple.

Do you have different line-up options?

The Just For You duo includes Female Vocals, and Male Vocals with Acoustic Guitar & Loop Pedal. If you have purchased the Four-Piece Party Band add-on, you will get Drums, Bass Guitar, Electric Guitar, two Lead Vocals and two Backing Vocals in the evening! (If your song choices include Piano, there will be Piano where appropriate!)

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

If you book with Just For You, the slot is yours and we will perform at the times you need us. However, things don't always go that smoothly! If you know that timings are going to be different to that which was planned, let us know as soon as possible so we can work with you in our best capacity to keep the entertainment flowing.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

This would come as an absolute standard, unless you already have another source of music! If you've chosen Evening Entertainment and would like music to be played to keep your guests partying until close of venue, let us know in advance and we can provide - just make sure to check the option in Add-Ons.

How much time do you need to set up?

Just For You need about an hour to assess the acoustics, plot power sources & cables, and set up for the performances. If you have purchased the Four-Piece Party Band add-on, we will require 90 minutes before the start of the live music for the same set-up. Let us know if you would like a playlist to set the atmosphere whilst we set up!

Can you roam around while you perform?

During Just For You's performance, Ally is able to roam around & interact with guests. If you have purchased the Four-Piece Party Band add-on, Ally & Aaron are able to roam around & interact with guests - which we know they love!

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Absolutely! Please feel free to choose the songs we play from the list we have provided. In some cases, however, we may offer alternative songs that are similar to that which you have chosen - this comes from not only years of experience observing what works and what doesn't, but also what may or may not be appropriate.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

We have a wide array of sound & lighting equipment, all PAT-tested & certified, to suit any & all venues - which we will assess prior to the day. You can book with confidence knowing that there won't be any additional costs when it comes to hiring extra bits of gear.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Please check the Add-On for a live performance of your first dance, as we require plenty of rehearsal time to make it as special as possible! If there are other songs you'd like to hear, we may already know them - let us know in advance. We love spontaneous requests, though we don't read whilst playing - we perform everything by memory, by heart.
