Customer questions
What do your clients love most about your performances?
The gorgeous sound of the cello!
The choice of repertoire.
My professionalism.
Which venues have you performed at in the past?
I’ve performed in concert halls worldwide, including the Carnegie Hall NY, Sydney Opera House and the Royal Albert Hall in London.
As a wedding cellist, I’ve played at many different venues, including churches and hotels. Recent bookings include Heckfield Place, Winchester and London.
Which artists have you been most influenced by?
As a cellist, I admire Sheku greatly. He is a fantastic ambassador of the cello showing it’s versatility in a musically generous style.
I love many genres of music and enjoy presenting tailor made performances based on clients’ musical preferences.
What is the most high profile gig you've performed?
My husband is particularly proud that I’ve played with the ELO at Hyde Park!
I’ve played at the Proms with the BBC Concert Orchestra & Philharmonia.
And I’m playing with the London Symphony Orchestra on the refreshed Bing Crosby’s ‘White Christmas’
There are lots more high profile gigs - if you book me, I’ll happily chat to you about my varied career!
Do you have different line-up options?
I play solo cello, but can also play with a pianist or other string players (prices on request)-
2 cellos
violin & cello
piano & cello
violin, viola & cello
string quartet (2 violins, viola & cello)
What if my timings change after I've booked you?
I can be flexible. Just give me as much notice as possible.
How much time do you need to set up?
20 - 30 minutes is fine. I usually play acoustically, but if I need to play with a backing track, then add a 15 minute sound check.
Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?
Yes, but there are many other pieces available. Too many to list. Please feel free to request special pieces or ask me for suggestions.
Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?
Yes, I'll bring everything I need. If you can provide a chair without arms, that saves me transporting a stool.
Can you learn specific pieces before the event?
Yes, certainly! If it's a song outside my repertoire I may make a charge for acquiring it and preparing it, but I'm a very quick learner!
