Josh is available to book as a solo or in a group format whether it be for jazz, classical or pop. As a soloist, Josh frequently performs clarinet and saxophone recitals. He can also provide background music for events. In 2022 Josh performed Mozart’s Clarinet Concerto accompanied by full Orchestra. As a session musician, Josh has been involved in many recording projects. He has also played in various orchestras, big bands and function bands.

Customer questions

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I always try my best to be as flexible as possible. If timings change please let me know as soon as you can.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

I can offer an iPod service for free!

How much time do you need to set up?

20 minutes including warming up time and if I am using an accompanist this will be enough time to set up their keyboard.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

I always choose a setlist which I feel would be appropriate for the audience. I am more than happy for you to pick pieces from my setlist.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes absolutely! I can bring my own instrument and my accompanist can bring their keyboard.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

I am more than happy to learn new pieces/songs for an event. A small service fee may be charged depending on the length and difficulty of the piece.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

People love the pieces I perform, the high standard I always work towards and the flexibility I can offer at any event.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

Here is just a selection of some of the venues I have performed at in Cardiff: St David's Hall, The Tramshed, Hoddinott Hall, Portland House, The National Museum. I have also performed at the Royal Albert Hall.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

I have performed with a jazz band at the Royal Albert Hall! I also performed solo at a private function with Bryan Adams in attendance.
