Josh Venables

Josh is a passionate and talented performer, with experience playing at weddings, services and events across the musical spectrum. He believes that the secret to an outstanding musician is is one that not only displays exceptional technical quality but also adapts their style to the hosts and guests, to create the ideal atmosphere for your event. Josh started playing the piano at the age of 5. By twelve, he was already teaching students and regularly performing. He achieved a Distinction in his LTCL Performance Diploma at the age of 16. Since then, Josh has performed as part of a funk band, a pop duo and solo for balls, weddings and concerts. His experience as a solo performer includes funky pop sets at several Oxford college balls; classical concertos at the Barbican as well as hymns and jazzy sets for weddings across the country. Josh's calling card is his flair and versatility across different genres. He loves to play new songs by request and so would love to accept any requests, whether in advance or on the day.
