Josh has a wonderful voice and did a fantastic performance at our vintage-themed event. He was also a pleasure to work with, arriving in plenty of time and worked well with the other artists we had booked to perform at the same location throughout the day.

Customer questions

What do your clients love most about your performances?

My ability to entertain first and foremost! My attention to detail, my punctuality and ability to engage my audience; leaving them with a lasting fond memory of the event.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

Highlights include; Manorbier Castle in Wales for a private wedding function, Thanet Indoor Bowls Club, Hidden Rooms Cocktail Lounge in Cambridge, The Savoy and The Dorchester Hotel and The Wollaston Inn (The Nag's Head) as it was famously known as. I believe the above that I can adapt my act and repertoire to suit any venue and occasion.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

Frank Sinatra & Neil Diamond

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

The Savoy Hotel & The Dorchester Hotel in London as part of Society of Stars gig where I performed as a tribute to my idol 'Frank Sinatra'.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I am flexible to my clients needs as long as I'm given prior notice of a time change for an event. I just politely ask that all timings are confirmed 2 weeks prior to the event so I can plan accordingly.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

I always provide a music playlist via my PA prior to my performance & during an interval at no extra cost. If you require music following my sets or for longer than the period of hours stated in the booking; this will be at an extra cost of £75 per hour standard rate/£100 special dates.

How much time do you need to set up?

In some instances it can take me just 10-15 minutes to set up, however preparation is key and therefore I like to arrive at the venue at least an hour before guests arrive so I can meet the host, setup and soundcheck. I feel this also gives the host a last opportunity to ask any questions, and it gives us both clarity and peace of mind.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

I have 300 songs for you to choose from at your leisure. I bring songbooks with me, so your guests can select a few that aren't in the pre-arranged setlist and request. If you have a personal favourite, you can ask if I can learn it prior to the gig.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Certainly! I'm always well prepared! I have 2 systems, one is battery powered so if a venue's electrics fail or trip, the music will go on!

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

If a song isn't included in my song list there may still be a chance I already know it. If there is a special song you'd like me to learn I am happy to do this for you free of charge. For additional songs there will be a £30 charge. This is to cover rehearsal time, track costs etc.
